Privacy Policy

1. What the app and preview do

The app provides offline institutional information about the Foundation, planned healthcare services, welfare care, renovation and launch updates, donation and Waqf safeguards, Zakāt status, recruitment status, contact details and emergency guidance. The website includes a clearly labelled synthetic preview of the planned patient-record and staff workflow. It is not connected to a clinical database. The facility is under renovation. Clinical services, appointments, donations, Zakāt and recruitment remain closed unless the Foundation announces otherwise through an official channel.

2. Data we collect and share

The Android app and synthetic patient-record preview do not collect or store personal, medical or sensitive information. There is no live patient account, MR lookup, medical-record database, appointment form, donation or payment function, job-application form, advertising, analytics or tracking service. Synthetic examples are embedded in the page and are not real patient records. Published auction notices are public documents and require no sign-in, account or personal information to view or download.

The website previously offered a sign-in used only to access a downloadable publication. That feature was retired on 28 August 2026. Historical authentication records may still require deletion processing; a former user may request deletion through the contact listed below.

3. Device permissions and offline use

The app is designed to work offline and requests no permission for location, Health Connect, health sensors, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, telephone, call logs, SMS, photos, files, Bluetooth or advertising identifiers.

4. External actions and services

When a user chooses a clearly labelled action, the app or website can open the official website, Dr Umair Islam’s Marham profile, an email application, the Android share sheet, or a published auction notice document. External booking through Marham remains separate and is subject to Marham’s availability, fees, terms and privacy policy.

5. Voluntary contact

If a user voluntarily emails the Foundation, the Foundation will receive the email address and message content supplied by that person. This information may be used to respond, administer the enquiry and meet lawful record-retention obligations. It should not be used to send emergency details, patient records, payments, donations, Zakāt, equipment offers or a CV while the corresponding service or channel remains closed.

To request access, correction or deletion of information voluntarily sent by email, contact dnimc.healthcare@gmail.com. Some records may be retained where required by law or needed to protect legitimate legal rights.

6. Children

The app is intended for a general adult audience aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Security

The Android app operates offline and requests no sensitive permissions. Published auction notices and documents are public information and require no sign-in. Readers should use only official DNIHCF channels to verify any auction, donation or recruitment notice.

8. Changes to this policy

If a future version activates live patient accounts, bookings, forms, payments, patient information, uploads, analytics or another data-handling feature, the Foundation will update this policy and any applicable app-store declaration before that feature is released. The effective date shown above will also be updated. Account-closure information is available at dnihcf.org/account-deletion.
